worship services

Worship that pleases God is prescribed in the Bible : the reading and preaching of Scripture, prayer and praise, the observance of the ordinances (baptism and the Lord's Supper), and giving of our tithes and offerings to the Lord (1 Timothy 2:1-4, 1 Timothy 4:13 , 1 Corinthians 16:1-2, Ephesians 5:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-25).

The most important aspect our worship service is the preaching of the Word. This is because through the reading, exposition, and application of the Holy Scriptures God saves sinners and sanctifies His people.

Our congregational singing encourages the people of God to lift their voice and sing the praises of God. The Word of Christ should dwell "richly" in us, in light of this our congregation sings psalms and theologically sound hymns both old and new. Our worship in song is not meant to be emotive it is meant to exalt the Triune God of the Bible.
