Why Care Groups?

Cornerstone Care Groups are a means by which we can love one another, edify one another, and stir one another up to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24).
These small groups meet at the church and at various locations around Orlando. The people of God have always “devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers” (Acts 2:42).
Gathering in care groups is one way we imitate those who came before us. Besides gathering together on the Lord’s day for corporate worship, we gather in care groups to “instruct one another” (Romans 15:14), “spur one another on toward love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24), “encourage one another” (Hebrews 10:25), “confess [our] sins to each other” (James 5:16), and “pray for each other” (James 5:16).
